What is AI Ranked?

AI Ranked is a set of four free browser tools for AI search visibility. They grew out of the makers' own research into how ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity choose which sources to cite.
The robots.txt checker shows which of 21 AI user agents can reach your pages. The citability grader scores a page 0 to 100 across 12 checks, each with a one-line fix. The llms.txt generator builds a spec-valid file, and the schema generator writes validated JSON-LD for FAQPage, Article, Organization, HowTo and SoftwareApplication.
All tools are free with no sign-up, and everything runs in your browser, so nothing you paste leaves your device.

Should I block GPTBot?
Blocking GPTBot keeps content out of future OpenAI training, but it does not remove you from ChatGPT search, which uses OAI-SearchBot. Many publishers block the training bot and allow the search bot.
Does an llms.txt file improve AI visibility?
There is no evidence it moves citations yet, and Google says its search does not use it. It takes minutes to make, so there is little downside, but do not expect results from it alone.
How is GEO different from SEO?
They overlap: Google's AI features draw on its index, so ranking still matters there. AI answers reward quotable facts over keyword targeting, and success is measured in mentions and citations instead of positions.
