Overview

What is Crowny?

The best notch for everyone

Crowny turns your MacBook's notch into a live home for your AI agents, meetings, music and focus. It watches the Claude Code, Codex and Grok sessions you start yourself (in Terminal, iTerm and more) and shows live task progress, diffs and costs without leaving your flow. Music gets live artwork, lyrics and playback control in the notch; you can ask questions aloud and get spoken answers (with your own Anthropic API key), and day management covers mail triage and draft replies, reminders, notes and a Today view with your calendar. 20+ app integrations (Calendar, Things, Mail, GitHub, Alexa, Obsidian and more) sit quietly in the notch and wake only when something needs attention. $5 one-time launch price (was $15) for a license on one Mac, all version 1 updates included, no account and no subscription. 14-day full refund. Requires Apple Silicon Mac with a notch, macOS 15+. By founder Amrit.

Common questions

Crowny FAQs

Does it work with sessions I already run?

Yes. Crowny watches the Claude Code, Codex and Grok sessions you start yourself (e.g. in Terminal or iTerm) and shows their progress in the notch.

Is it a subscription?

No. You pay once for a license on one computer; all version 1 updates are included. No account, no monthly fee.

Will it slow my Mac down?

No. It uses about a tenth of one percent of a single core at rest and draws nothing when idle; your data stays on your Mac.

Do I need an API key?

Agents, Time, Play, Reminders, Today, Notes and Apple Mail work without one; voice answers and Gmail triage/drafts require your own Anthropic key, added in Setup.

What if it isn't for me?

Write from the email you paid with within 14 days of buying for a full refund, no questions asked.
