Overview
What is Google Antigravity?
Build in the agent-first era with Google's agentic coding platform.
Google Antigravity is Google's agent-first development platform, built for the era of agentic coding. It brings together four components: the Antigravity App (a control center for managing multiple local agents in parallel), the Antigravity CLI (a terminal-native agent environment), the Antigravity IDE (a full agent-native IDE), and the Antigravity SDK for building custom agents with minimal Python code.
The platform is aimed at everyone from professional developers working in large enterprise codebases to hobbyists experimenting with vibe coding. IDE extensions are available for VS Code, JetBrains, Visual Studio, Zed, and Xcode, and a Linux download is offered alongside an Enterprise option.
Google's frontier model Gemini 4 Argon is rolling out inside Antigravity for Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers. Google reports that teams using Argon in Antigravity increased agentic code submissions by more than 35% while code rollbacks fell by nearly a third. Separately, Google is giving 10,000 scientists six months of free access to Antigravity's highest usage tier.
