Overview

What is Google Playground?

If you can think it, you can play it: create, play, and share custom games with AI.

Google Playground is an experimental gaming platform from Google Labs that lets you create, play, and share browser-based games using natural-language prompts. Describe the game you want in a chat interface, choose 2D or 3D and single or multiplayer, and the platform generates a playable game you can keep refining with follow-up instructions. Finished games run in the browser on phones and laptops, and can be kept private, shared via link, or published to the Playground Explore gallery. Playground is built on Gemini, Nano Banana, and Lyria models with a custom creation harness, and a Unity Spark integration with professional-level 3D capabilities is planned. Creation is free within a weekly token allowance, with higher limits for Google One subscribers.
