Overview

What is ilha?

Your Claude Code and Codex limits, live in the notch

ilha is a Mac menu-bar app that keeps every Claude Code, Codex and Grok Build usage limit live in the notch, so heavy AI-coding users never get cut off mid-task. For each connected account it shows the 5-hour and weekly windows, remaining quota, reset times and a depletion forecast at a glance.

When an account runs low, ilha warns at 90% with one-click switching and can switch automatically at 98% (reversible). It also includes Insights, a cost dashboard that prices weekly usage at official API rates and breaks it down by hour and project, plus banked resets that can be spent with a single tap when a limit hits.

ilha is freemium: a free plan covers the core menu-bar view, and Pro is a one-time purchase per Mac with a 14-day free trial per Mac, no account or credit card required. It is macOS-only and runs fully locally.

Common questions

ilha FAQs

Is there a free trial of Pro?

Yes. Every Mac gets 14 days of Pro automatically, no account or credit card needed.

What is the difference between Free and Pro?

Free covers the menu-bar usage view, alerts and sounds. Pro adds every account of every CLI, one-click and automatic account switching, Insights cost analytics, banked resets and a year of updates.

What if I switch to a new Mac?

Just paste your license key on the new Mac. The Mac that has been seen the longest ago gives up its seat.

What data does ilha send to the developer?

Only a daily update check and an anonymous count under a random ID (app version, plan, macOS version, Mac type, account count per CLI, auto-switch state), plus crash reports if it hangs. Never your usage, credentials, logins or logs, and both can be turned off in Settings.
