KDP Cover Creator

A practical cover workspace

The cover creator for amazon kdp is a browser-based workspace for designing or revising a book cover. It brings front, spine and back layout into one place so an author or designer can work on the full wrap rather than treating each panel as an unrelated image.

Edit and review

Separate text and artwork layers make it possible to adjust the title, author name and visual elements without starting every revision from scratch. Dimension checks and guides help users review their layout before export. A preview is a useful working aid, not proof that a particular printer will approve the file or that a physical print has been checked.

Export and keep working

The workflow includes full-wrap PDF export and an editable project backup. Keep the backup with the book's production notes so later corrections can be made to the working layout. Authors should independently verify trim size, spine measurements, bleed and the current specifications of their chosen publishing service before submitting a cover.

Optional AI artwork

The cover editor can be used for ordinary design and revision. Optional AI-assisted artwork uses credits; availability and paid limits can change, so consult the product for current terms. Users remain responsible for reviewing generated output and confirming they have rights to all artwork and typefaces they use.
