What is Rill Browser?
The browser where Claude Code and Codex work beside you.
Rill is a free Mac browser where Claude Code and Codex work beside you. Instead of switching between a browser and a terminal, you dispatch AI agents from any page and keep browsing while they work.
Press ⌘E on any page to turn what you see into an agent task; Rill automatically finds the matching local project, so there is nothing to configure. Up to five agents can work in parallel in the background and notify you when they finish. Tabs are grouped by topic automatically, history reads like a searchable journal of your day, and a project map collects everything you are working on.
Safety is built into the model: agents read pages as untrusted text, browse in isolated background tabs that never touch your login sessions, and new tasks start read-only. In git repositories every agent edit can be undone, and web tasks pause before payment, ordering, sending, publishing or deleting. Your history and passwords stay on your Mac, with passwords in the Keychain and Touch ID unlock.
Rill is free and in public beta (version 0.1.5). AI features run on the Claude Code or Codex plan you already have: no new subscription, no API key. It requires macOS 14 or later on Apple silicon, plus Claude Code 2.1.261+ or Codex CLI 0.144.4+ signed in for the agent features.

Rill Browser FAQs
How much does Rill cost?

Only for the AI features; plain browsing works without them.
Can agents change my code without asking?
New tasks are read-only by default. When editing is allowed, every edit in a git repository can be undone.
Can an agent buy things on its own?
Web tasks pause before payment, ordering, sending, publishing or deleting, so nothing irreversible happens on its own.
