Overview

What is Triage by Chodeberg?

Reproduce user described bugs in clean sandbox environments

Triage by Chodeberg is a bug-report verification service for teams shipping CLIs, TUIs, and Linux apps. Users file bugs straight from their AI assistant through an MCP server into a live copy of the app; Triage then automatically replays each report on a clean sandbox machine. If a report cannot be reproduced, it never reaches the maintainer — only bugs that break again get forwarded, as a watchable link.

Every verified report ships with a read-only live-view link, exact replay steps, a screen recording, backtraces, and CPU/memory telemetry. Reports export as README or JSON, and coding agents can pull them over MCP.

Sandbox safety is built in: replays run on sealed offline machines with no secrets, allow-listed hosts, monthly usage caps, and private-by-default reports. Pricing is credit-based — 1 credit = 1 cent, every account gets 100 free credits per month, and paid credit packs start at $100 with purchased credits that never expire.

Common questions

Triage by Chodeberg FAQs

Who pays for the AI model used to file a bug report?

Reporters are responsible for their own model usage costs; Triage itself never charges the person filing the report.

Do my credits expire?

Credits you buy never expire. Free-tier credits reset to zero at the end of each month.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. If you have not used the service, you can request a full refund within 14 days.

Will I be charged automatically when my credits run out?

No. Triage never charges you automatically — you only pay when you deliberately buy a credit pack.
