1 / 2Overview
What is Vibe?
Your AI agent for long-horizon tasks, fluent in your knowledge and tools.
Vibe is Mistral AI's AI assistant — formerly known as Le Chat, renamed in 2026. It is positioned as an agent for long-horizon tasks that stays fluent in your knowledge and tools, not just a chat box.
You can chat with it on the web or mobile, or run it in your terminal and editor via Vibe Code and the Vibe CLI. Mistral says its newest flagship model, Large 4, will become Vibe's default model, with users still able to switch to alternatives where those lead.
Vibe is free to try, with Pro ($14.99/month) adding full access for all-day coding and long-running tasks, Team ($24.99/user/month) adding a secure collaborative workspace, and Enterprise offering custom models, agents, and workflows.
