Desktop SEO crawler your AI client can drive: finds 150+ issues, assigns fixes, and verifies they're live.

Homepage: crawl from your AI, verify every fix
1 / 3Overview
What is VisibilityKit Crawler?
SEO crawler your AI can run. Find, fix and prove it.
VisibilityKit Crawler is a desktop SEO crawler for macOS, Windows and Linux that your AI client can drive directly through a built-in MCP server. It finds 150+ kinds of SEO problems — titles, descriptions, headings, canonicals, links and response issues — ranks them by severity and affected URLs, assigns each fix an owner in the Action Center, and re-crawls pages to prove the fix is live.
Key highlights:
- 36 native MCP tools — Claude, Cursor, Codex or any MCP-capable AI client can start a real crawl; the desktop window shows the agent's progress live.
- Fix verification — after a fix ships, affected URLs are re-checked against what the site actually returns; uncertain results are flagged as uncertain, never silently marked as success.
- Real PageRank computed from the site's own link graph, plus JS-rendered vs. raw comparisons and crawl-over-crawl regression detection.
- Privacy by design — crawl data stays on your local disk; there is no vendor crawl server. Only integrations you configure yourself (e.g. Google API calls or your own AI provider key) send data elsewhere.
- Agency workflow — client workspaces and branded HTML action plans with verification evidence.
Pricing is freemium: the free tier is not a trial — it includes the full audit, Action Center and verification loop with no time limit and no account required. One-time lifetime licences add rendering, integrations, history, scheduling, exports and client reporting.

VisibilityKit Crawler Key Features
AI-driven crawls via MCP
A built-in MCP server with 36 native tools lets Claude, Cursor, Codex or any MCP-capable AI client configure and start a real crawl; the desktop window fills in live as the agent works.
150+ issue checks with Action Center
150+ kinds of SEO issues detected — titles, meta descriptions, headings, canonicals, links, response codes — ranked by severity and affected URLs, each fix assignable to an owner with notes and persistent status.
Fix verification loop
After a fix ships, affected URLs are re-crawled and the fix is proven against what the site actually returns. Uncertain outcomes (timeouts, 503s) are labelled uncertain instead of counted as success.
Real PageRank and regression diffs
True PageRank computed from your site's own link graph (not a vendor approximation), JavaScript-rendered vs. raw comparisons, and crawl-over-crawl diffs to catch regressions.
Local-first data and agency reports
Crawl data never leaves your machine — no vendor crawl server. Group workspaces by client and export branded HTML action plans with verification evidence.

Common questions
VisibilityKit Crawler FAQs
Where does my crawl data go?
Crawl data stays on your own disk. The vendor runs no crawl server and cannot see your crawls; the only data that leaves your machine is what integrations you configure yourself need (a Google API call, or a prompt to the AI provider whose key you entered).
Is the free tier a trial?
No. The free tier is the complete audit, Action Center and verification loop, including the MCP server, with no time limit and no account. Paid tiers add JavaScript rendering, integrations, crawl history, scheduling, exports and client reporting.
How do I buy, and what happens if I change machines?
You buy inside the app, which opens a LemonSqueezy checkout. The licence is bound to one machine; moving to a new machine means deactivating on the old one, which releases the local token. If you get stuck, contact the vendor and they will sort it out.
Which AI clients work with it?
Any LLM or AI client where an MCP server can be connected and invoked. The server ships with the app, so there is nothing separate to install or keep running.
Why would I switch from Screaming Frog?
The vendor suggests using both. VisibilityKit Crawler's advantages are that an AI client can drive a real crawl, the audit-to-verified loop, and data staying local; Screaming Frog offers broader individual checks and a more mature CLI.
