Burn After Reading is an anonymous, location-based messaging app where words exist only in the real world. Drop a message at your exact GPS location, and only someone who physically walks to that spot can unlock and read it. Once read, the message is burned — permanently deleted, gone forever.
No accounts. No usernames. No sign-ups. Burn After Reading is anonymous by design. Your identity is never collected, and messages are tied to places, not people.
Discover nearby drops on the map, follow the compass to their location, and unlock them when you're within range. Every message is a one-time experience - a digital secret hidden in a physical space.
Want to connect with someone? Meet in person and add them as a friend - no phone numbers or social profiles exchanged. Friend drops can be saved or burned, your choice.
With a 280-character limit, content moderation, and a 60-second cooldown between drops, Burn After Reading keeps things brief, clean, and intentional.
