What is The Brains?
Founders and investors as MCP servers, every answer cited
The Brains turns founders, CEOs and investors into searchable MCP servers. Each brain is built from that person's public talks, essays and posts, so you can ask about pricing, growth or distribution inside the AI assistant you already use — Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, Codex or Claude Code — and every answer cites the original source with a link and date.
The website directory lets you browse and search all brains by category, and each brain page shows the person's knowledge areas, standout quotes, and the full list of cited sources. Under the hood, each brain exposes two read-only MCP tools — search_brain and list_sources — so agents can search the knowledge and audit every citation.
The project is free and open source under the MIT license, so you can connect through the hosted endpoint or deploy it yourself.
