Mi Speaks is an iPhone app that reads books, articles and PDFs aloud in neural voices generated entirely on the device. Its 28 Studio Voices are produced by an on-device model, so reading works in airplane mode and nothing is uploaded — there is not even an account to sign in to. As it reads, every spoken word is highlighted on screen, and PDF chapter navigation lets you jump to any chapter from the lock screen. Paste text, share from any app, or photograph a page to start listening. Reading is free with no time limit and no length limit. Premium, an optional in-app purchase with a 7-day free trial, adds the Studio Voices, an unlimited saved-speech library synced via iCloud Drive, audio export, and Turbo playback speeds. Your place also follows you to Apple Watch.
