What is Reelary?
Search your own footage by describing a shot, fully local
Reelary makes your own video and photo library searchable by describing what is in it. Point it at a folder or an external drive and it indexes every photo and every 2-second slice of every clip with a local vision model, so a search like "drone shot over a coastline at sunset" returns the exact moments. Nothing is tagged by hand and nothing is uploaded.
It also searches text that appears in footage, turns a script into a rough cut on a simple timeline, and exports an MP4 or an FCPXML / EDL project for Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
The free version has no time limit and needs no account: unlimited indexing and search, with exports capped at 720p and a light watermark. Pro is a one-time purchase that works on both Windows and Mac.
