Lokutor is a voice AI company in Madrid that designs and trains its own small speech foundation models: Versa for text to speech in nine languages, Turno for turn-taking that knows when a caller has finished speaking and lets them interrupt, Psst for noise suppression, and Conv for speech recognition. Because the models are small, the same stack runs in Lokutor's EU cloud, on a customer's own servers, or on a device — even on an ESP32-S3 microcontroller via open-source models. Voice agents start answering about 0.6 seconds after you stop talking, and a typical agent minute costs about 5 cents with the language model included, billed by the second from a prepaid balance. You also get phone numbers, tools and CRM, text to speech, speech to text and noise cancellation as APIs, and voice cloning.
