What is agentmash?
Open-source multiplayer AI for teams' coding agents
agentmash is one app for your team's AI coding agents. When several developers run Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot and other agents on the same repository, agentmash tells every agent what the others are changing — before it edits.
- A shared room per repository with live file, branch and session status
- Warnings before an agent edits a file a teammate's agent is working on
- Advisory file claims that never lock anyone out
- Support for 20+ coding agents, each on its own login
- A desktop lobby app, a terminal login and an API for team automation
It is free for up to two developers, and you pay per developer — never per agent — beyond that.

agentmash Key Features
Shared context for every agent
Each agent is told which files a teammate's agent is changing, on which branch, before it edits.
Conflict warnings before edits
Advisories arrive before an edit lands, so agents adjust instead of silently overwriting each other's work.
Advisory file claims
An agent can claim files before it starts; claims are advisory, never locks, and expire on their own.
Works with major coding agents
Connects Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot and more, each on its own developer's login.
Desktop lobby, CLI and API
Run agents side by side in the lobby app for macOS and Windows, connect from the terminal, or automate via API.

Common questions
agentmash FAQs
Does agentmash lock files?
No. Warnings and claims are advisory only, never locks. A team that wants a hard block can turn on strict mode, which cancels an edit into a teammate's change until the agent acknowledges it.
Does the agentmash server see my code?
No, by default. The room receives file paths, branch names and the shape of each change, not your code; diff sharing stays off unless your room turns it on.
Which coding agents does it work with?
Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Devin, Amp, Antigravity, Cline, Crush, Gemini CLI, OpenCode and more, connected through the desktop app or a terminal login.
Can we run our own server?
Yes, on the Enterprise plan, which runs a private Docker image on one machine on your network so prompt excerpts never leave it.
